2nd Annual Drive-thru Nativity at Grace Lutheran Church

Posted

The 2nd annual drive-thru nativity at Grace Lutheran Church on County 4 Blvd, Goodhue was a great way to kick off the holy-days of Christmas! The drive-thru is a joint project of Grace, St. Peter's and St. John's churches. It was held Saturday, November 26th from 5:30-7:30 pm and collected donations for the area food shelf.

Well over 100 cars drove around the church and saw the various boards proclaiming the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Christ. They heard the angels, shepherds, carolers, and wisemen singing familiar Christmas carols. There were also real farm animals including a donkey, calf, and sheep.

Thank you to all who took time to come and see and now, like the shepherds, can go and tell all who will listen that Jesus Christ is born. Thank you to all who made this event possible. It was the result of much planning and hard work, especially from Darwin & Mary Tri, members of Grace.  Grace Lutheran Church will be having a candlelight service at 7:00pm Christmas Eve and a Christmas Day service at 9:00am.
