Goodhue Lion's members grilling some of the 4,000 pounds of meat for their 62nd annual chicken BBQ Sunday, August 16th.
Around 2000 people went through the serving lines at the Goodhue Lion's Community Center. In addition to the chicken, baked potato, corn-on-the-cob and sides, there was ice cream, music and fellowship in the outdoor tents.
Lion's members, their families and volunteers helped serve the delicious meal at the 62nd annual chicken BBQ.
Goodhue Lion's sold raffle tickets for the side-x-side drawing to be held along with their ATV-UTV ride September 13th. The Lion's club donates money to many local organizations and community projects. For more information on the ride and raffle, contact Marty Kehren at 651-380-2888.
