Lynn Ketelsen and Jeff Stewart from the Linder Farm Network joined the crew of Red Wing’s KCUE radio for their live broadcast from Lodermeier’s Inc on October 21st. The event marked the 13th year KCUE has sponsored the Harvest Lunch. In previous years, the celebration was held on farms but they wanted to try having it at a business this year.
A bit of a breeze blew through the tent set up on the machinery lot but attendees enjoyed an unseasonably warm, sunny day. Pork sandwiches, coleslaw, chips and a bar were served at the site from 11 AM- 2 PM. Local radio personality, Jack Colwell kept the show running between interviews of local business people.
Jeff Stewart, along with Lynn Ketelsen, who was recently inducted into the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame, conducted the interviews. Both men are part of The Linder Farm Network (LFN), which is known as the ‘Voice of Minnesota Agriculture”.
