Larry Anthony Lodermeier

Larry Anthony Lodermeier, 68, of Red Wing, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2022, in his sleep, of natural causes.  He was born on April 17, 1954, in Red Wing to Edwin and Frances (Gadient) Lodermeier.  He graduated in 1972, from Goodhue High School.  He began his lifetime career at age 15, working for Lodermeier, Inc., retiring in 2021, after 52 years.  On June 23, 1979, he was united in marriage to Vicky Miller at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Goodhue.  They were blessed with three children, Carrie, Kristy and Nick.  Larry was loved by his family, co-workers and many friends.  Enjoying life to the fullest and spending a lot of time with his children, grandchildren and siblings, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time in his shop with his dogs, gardening, golfing, watching and attending Twins games and most recently riding his motorcycle. 

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Vicky of Red Wing; three children, Carrie (Jeff) Marn of Wyoming, MN, Kristy (Andrew) Prihoda-Doehling of Pine Island, Nick (Jessie) Lodermeier of Red Wing; six grandsons, Jayce and Jax Marn, Kobe, Blake and Taite Prihoda and Bentley Olson; one granddaughter, Brayden Olson and one great granddaughter, Kyla Voth; three brothers, Lee (Barb) Lodermeier, Willie (Carlene) Lodermeier and Andy (Sue) Lodermeier; three sisters, Rosalie (Pat) Benson,  Carolyn (Jeff) Ryan and Julie (John) Bianchini; father-in-law, Leland Miller and many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one nephew, Luke Lodermeier and one sister-in-law, Kathy Lodermeier.

A celebration of life for Larry was at 11 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at St. Columbkill Catholic Church in Belle Creek.  Father Thomas McCabe presided.  Visitation was from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022 and for one hour prior to the service all at the St. Columbkill Catholic Church.  Burial was at the church cemetery. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
